Islamabad: According to Hospital sources , the number of martyrs has reached 31.
President of the country and the Prime Minister have expressed deep grief over the Islamabad blast.
According to sources, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed profound sorrow and regret over the suicide blast that occurred in the Tarlai Kalan area of Islamabad.
They prayed for the forgiveness of the martyrs and for patience (sabr-e-jameel) for their families. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed condolences and sympathy with the families of those martyred.
He has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident and directed the provision of the best medical facilities to the injured.
On the other hand, Minister of State for Health Mustafa Kamal announced the imposition of emergency in hospitals in Islamabad and canceled all leaves of doctors and staff.
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry also reached PIMS Hospital, where he reviewed the medical facilities being provided to the injured and issued instructions for providing emergency medical aid to those seriously wounded.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health also stated that emergency has been imposed in all hospitals and the emergency departments are fully operational.
