Educational revolution in Balochistan: Thousands of teachers hired, Long-closed schools reopen

QUETTA: The Provincial government of Balochistan has prioritized the education sector, aiming to bring educational revolution in the province, for this purpose record numbers of over 11,000 teachers have been appointed across the province.

According to details, Balochistan is witnessing a major educational transformation as thousands of long-closed schools have reopened across to ensure the education facility to every child of the province. The government’s efforts are being hailed as a historic step to improve access to education and bring positive change to the lives of thousands of students.

The officials claimed that Balochistan has seen a record number of new admissions, and many children who had previously dropped out of school are now returning to education institutions. The Balochistan government also launched the free transport, scholarship programs, and a school lunch scheme to support underprivileged children, especially girls in the province.

Parents are regaining trust in the public education system, and the dropout rate is declining significantly. Areas once affected by conflict and insecurity are now seeing the return of learning, with schools becoming active again and children replacing silence with the sound of reading and writing.

Balochistan Education Minister Raheela Hameed Durrani announced the launch of a Virtual Academy for Teacher Training, aiming to improve the quality of teaching through modern training programs.

Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti called education the government’s top priority, adding that government is committed to shaping a better future for our children through quality education.

CM Bugti has also pledged to give education top priority in the budget, policymaking, and implementation, promising long-term reforms in the education sector.
