DIG Quetta: Eagle force barred from checking vehicle papers

QUETTA: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Ehtesab Goraya, has said that no member of the Eagle Force is allowed to ask citizens for vehicle or motorcycle documents while on duty.

The directive was issued in response to complaints from citizens, with the intention that the Eagle Force focuses solely on its primary responsibilities of patrolling and maintaining security.

A police spokesperson clarified that the enforcement of traffic laws and the checking of vehicle documents is solely the responsibility of the Traffic Police. Members of the Eagle Force are prohibited from interfering in these duties.
