Duki DC reviews ongoing development projects

DUKI: Duki Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Naeem Khan conducted an extensive visit to various development projects underway under the BSDI program.

Khan inspected road construction sites, drainage systems, building works, and projects related to public facilities. He examined the pace, quality, and overall execution of the ongoing initiatives, taking a close look at whether the work met the required standards. 

In this regard, the engineers and concerned staff briefed him on the technical details, current progress, and challenges faced at different sites.

In this sense, the deputy commissioner focused on the importance of completing all projects within the stipulated timeline. He directed the project teams to resolve any on-site issues immediately and ensure that no delays occur. 

Khan further mentioned that development schemes must align with public needs and should be executed with full transparency and accountability. He reasserted that negligence in government-funded development work would not be tolerated. 

“Every project must reflect quality, responsibility, and a commitment to serving the people,” he said, stressing the need for strict monitoring. 

He instructed the relevant departments to accelerate their efforts so that residents could benefit from improved infrastructure and essential services as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Khan stated that timely completion of development schemes is crucial for increasing public welfare and ensuring long-term progress in the district. 

On the contrary, the Municipal administration of Quetta has carried out a massive operation regarding the cleanliness of the city where the residents of the city appreciated this very action taken by the district administration.

He added that the administration is committed to providing maximum facilities to the community and ensuring that government initiatives lead to practical improvements in people’s daily lives.

The ongoing projects under the BSDI program are expected to contribute significantly to the region’s infrastructure, offering better connectivity, improved sanitation, and enhanced public services.
