Quetta: A massive quantity of narcotics worth billions of rupees was incinerated in Balochistan.
According to a report by a private TV channel, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Balochistan set fire to approximately 80 tons of illegal drugs, with an estimated value of over 111 million rupees, during an official ceremony.
The event was attended by the Governor of Balochistan.
Utilizing a specialized technology-based system, all the drugs were placed within a secured area, and a single button press triggered the destruction, turning the massive drug haul into ashes within moments.
On this occasion, the Governor reaffirmed the state’s determination to eradicate the menace of drugs completely.
He praised the ANF’s efforts in curbing drug trafficking and apprehending those involved.

He further stressed the need to protect the younger generation from the curse of narcotics and to engage them in constructive activities so they can contribute positively to the nation’s development.
