BARKHAN: In Barkhan’s Union Council Mehma Samand Khan Kharr Buzdar, a deadly gunfight erupted between cousins over a domestic dispute, resulting in the death of two individuals and leaving two others critically injured.
The injured were immediately shifted to Dera Ghazi Khan in critical condition for medical treatment.
Following the incident, Levies Force arrived at the scene and began an investigation into the matter.
The situation in the area remains tense, with a sense of fear and panic among the residents.
According to initial findings, the cause of the shooting was a family dispute that escalated into violence.
The fatal altercation has left the community in shock. It is worth mentioning that another huge tribal clash occurred in Qila Abdullah a couples of days earlier.
Which led to loss of some five people from the either side.
The clash erupted from an old land dispute in the Toot Ada area when the armed people from both the tribes fired at each other and incident became deadly raising fear and strain in the entire area.
