KHUZDAR: The Government of Balochistan’s Health Department has suspended Dr. Muhammad Naseem Langove, the District Health Officer (DHO) of Khuzdar, on charges of misconduct and negligence. The suspension was officially enacted under Section 6(1) of the Balochistan Employees Efficiency and Disciplinary Act, 2011.
Dr. Langove faces multiple allegations, including conducting unauthorized recruitment that violated stipulated NIDs restrictions. Additional charges involve a failure to take disciplinary action against underperforming staff, a lack of corrective measures despite poor MPQA assessments, and a failure to ensure women’s participation in health programmes.
The Health Department has directed the Divisional Director of Health Services in Sibi to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the matter. The director has been tasked with submitting a detailed report, along with recommendations, within 15 days. According to the Health Department’s official contacts list, which was updated recently, Dr. Naseem Langove was listed as the DHO for Khuzdar with a provided contact number.

, Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar said that the government is making every possible effort to provide basic healthcare facilities to the people, and timely completion of health projects is among the top priorities of the provincial government.
