JAFFARABAD: A police officer was killed and two other constable sustained injuries following a tragic accident occurred near the Bypass Maml area in Jaafarabad involving the squad vehicle of Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Balochistan, Jehanzaib Khan.
According to police officials, the deceased police officer identified as Safar Khan. The injured constables were immediately shifted to Dera Allah Yar Hospital for medical treatment, along with the deceased officer’s body.
The DG PDMA was visiting Dera Allah Yar to assess the ongoing flood situation when the accident occurred. Initial reports do not indicate the exact cause of the crash, and police have launched an investigation to determine how the accident took place.
