DG ISPR visits Cadet College Plandri, highlights national unity

RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, paid a visit to the Cadet College Plandri, where he held an interactive session with students and faculty members.

The participants during the session paid rich tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for their sacrifices and professionalism, particularly in defending the country against external aggression.

Furthermore, students and faculty expressed gratitude to the DG ISPR for his detailed and thoughtful responses, noting that his words had boosted their morale and further strengthened their confidence in the armed forces.

The principal of the college said the DG ISPR’s interaction and determination served as a source of encouragement for both students and teachers.

Moreover, the participants focused on the importance of responsible citizenship, especially in the digital age, urging that news circulated on social media must be verified before being believed or shared.

They expressed confidence that any future act of aggression by India would be met with a strong and decisive response.

Meanwhile, the session also provided students with an opportunity to better understand the role and sacrifices of the armed forces in safeguarding the country. Participants paid homage to Major Rab Nawaz Tariq, the first martyr from Cadet College Plandri, acknowledging his ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

They reasserted their determination to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army against all forms of Indian aggression.
