KARACHI: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) held a special interaction with students and faculty at the University of Karachi.
Faculty members and students gave him a warm welcome on arrival.
During the session, participants reaffirmed their resolve to confront any threat to national security in unity with the Pakistan Armed Forces.
Faculty members said the spread of unverified information fuels social unrest and misunderstandings. They said the army’s engagement with educational institutions strengthens youth confidence and promotes national awareness.
Students also shared their views during the interaction. They said the younger generation remains committed to contributing to the country’s defence.
They pledged to counter hostile and misleading narratives circulating on social media.
Students said the DG ISPR’s briefing on misinformation and disinformation campaigns on digital platforms was informative and timely.
