DG ISPR: Who is supplying drones to Taliban : DG ISPR

Islamabad: While speaking exclusively to senior journalist Hamid Mir on Geo News programme Capital Talk, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Chaudhry Ahmed Sharif stated that there is no drone manufacturing factory in Afghanistan, so who exactly is supplying drones to them.

He once again clarified that Pakistan specifically targeted the terrorism infrastructure being used to attack Pakistan.

He said the Afghan Taliban regime posts false claims about the strikes and then deletes them. Pakistan has been fighting terrorism for decades.

He pointed out that almost all suicide bombers who come to Pakistan and detonate themselves are drug addicts.

There are contacts between Osama bin Laden’s family and the Afghan Taliban.

DG ISPR revealed that they reached out to Hamza bin Laden, son of Osama bin Laden, and invited him to come to Afghanistan.

So far Pakistan has struck 81 targets, all based on credible intelligence information.

He remarked sarcastically: “You sit here, martyr Pakistan’s children, and we should still request talks with you?”

Major General Sharif stated that the Afghan Taliban regime has attacked Pakistani check-posts at 53 different locations.

He said that the Taliban regime is hiding terrorists inside official government buildings.

Drugs are playing a major role in this terrorism, he added.

He questioned: “Where in Islam is it written to treat women like animals?”

He concluded by saying the Afghan Taliban started it and Pakistan responded. Earlier when Pakistan asked for talks, they used to say “have patience.” Now they should practice that patience themselves.
