DG ISPR: India backing terrorism in Pakistan to destabilize country

KARACHI: DG Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that India is continuously supporting terrorism in Pakistan with the aim to destabilize Pakistan.

He said that Pakistan Army is responding to the enemy with modern strategies, adding that the enemy will not be succeeded in its evil plan as Pakistan forces will counter their tactics of destabilizing Pakistan.

DG ISPR said this during a meeting with, people belonging to different religions and social circles in Karachi. Different issues were discussed in the meeting.

According to the ISPR, different religions and social circles warmly welcomed the DG ISPR and expressed their solidarity with him.

On the occasion, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that in Pakistan, followers of all religions are equal citizens and they have full constitutional rights, because national unity is maintained only through equality and harmony.

DG ISPR further said that ethnic and linguistic hatred is ignorance, all Pakistanis are equal, if we remain united as a nation, no force will be able to defeat us.

He said that only the state can declare jihad, no individual or group has the authority to wage armed struggle.

In the meeting, representatives of different religions and social classes described the meeting with DG ISPR as valuable. They thanked him and expressed their wish that such meetings should continue in the future.
