RAWALPINDI: DG Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that the martyrdom of 31 civilians including children on the night of 6 and 7, is clearly an act of Indian terrorism, adding that India will have to pay the price of killing the innocent citizens.
During a press conference, DG ISPR said that India had targeted cowardly innocent children and claiming of killing the terrorists which is a shame. We expected similar things and barbarity from India.
The evidence of India promoting terrorism is before the world and today everyone knows that India is involved in terrorism and killings, Pakistan’s Army Spokesperson said.
“How was the Holy Quran martyred by targeting mosques in Pakistan, while 31 innocent civilians were martyred and 57 were injured’ he said.
DG ISPR asked which religion and humanity is that which allows desecration of places of worship and holy books of any religion.
He said that another noteworthy thing is that Pakistan chose only military targets in defense and did not target innocent people, these were the targets that targeted Pakistan.
He further said that when the enemy came armed with its weapons, the brave Pakistani Air Force shot down the modern aircraft. DG ISPR also showed pictures of the destruction of check posts on the Line of Control and the Indian brigade headquarters in the press conference.
DG ISPR further said that thank God, no Pakistan Army personnel or any Air Force aircraft were harmed in the clashes or infiltration. He said that the international and independent media was shown in Mureed and other areas and they saw all this.
He said that when India attacked, 67 passenger planes were in the air and there were hundreds of passengers on board, these were airlines of Pakistan and other countries, India sacrificed all these passengers in its madness.
He said that the nation has faith in the Pakistan Army and the Pakistan Army has faith in its brave people and we will defend the homeland together, the Pakistan Army will never compromise for the safety of the people. The nation forgot all the differences and stood by the army, for which I pay tribute to them on behalf of the army.
