Quetta: The CM Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti has chaired a high level meeting of the parliamentary committee regarding the the implementation of the Public Sector Development Programs (PSDP)
The session was attended by members of the assembly from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League (PML), Awami National Party (ANP), and Jamaat-e-Islami.
During the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary for Development and Planning, Zahid Saleem, provided a detailed briefing on the progress of various schemes.
The CM ordered fast execution of the action plans regarding these projects and advised to ensure the completion of all these projects till February 2026.
He further directed that planning and consultations for the next fiscal year’s budget should be concluded before March.
The Chief Minister emphasized that PC-1 documents must reflect the complete estimated cost of projects, stating that phased estimations are not acceptable.
Highlighting the importance of optimal resource allocation, CM Bugti said that forming development schemes according to available resources would aid in timely execution.
He advised to prioritize the transparency in all the projects.
He added that consultation with elected representatives would enhance transparency, and public-interest proposals from parliamentarians would shape development priorities.
Timely completion of each project, he stated, is vital to restoring public trust.
Chief Minister Bugti assured that close monitoring would be carried out to ensure rapid progress on key projects.
He made it clear that mismanagement or corruption at any stage would not be tolerated, asserting that the province’s development is a shared responsibility.

He concluded by stating that sustainable progress requires both political consensus and administrative seriousness.
