DERA BUGTI – A large Youm-e-Tashakur (Thanksgiving Day) ceremony was held in Dera Bugti to express deep gratitude for the peace and stability restored in the region.
Organized with the support of BRDS and led by a prominent tribal elder, the event witnessed participation from civil society members, youth, and elders from various walks of life.
The attendees paid glowing tribute to the Pakistan Army, acknowledging its vital role in defeating terrorism and bringing normalcy to previously unrest-hit areas.
The ceremony concluded with heartfelt prayers for national unity and security, followed by the distribution of food packages among local residents.
Similar rallies and thanksgiving events were held across several districts of Balochistan, including Kohlu, Sibi, Khuzdar, and Panjgur. In these gatherings, local communities, including tribal leaders, students, and social activists, came out in large numbers to voice their support for the armed forces.
The participants carried banners and placards praising the Pakistan Army’s sacrifices and unwavering commitment to peace.
These widespread events reflect a growing public sentiment of appreciation for the role of security forces in restoring law and order.
