QUETTA: Nine people who were abducted and killed after being offloaded from passenger buses in Balochistan’s Zhob district have been identified and their bodies sent to their native towns in Punjab.
According to officials, all nine victims hailed from various cities across Punjab, including Gujrat, Lodhran, Khanewal, Attock, and Gujranwala. The victims were targeted and abducted by the terrorists associated with Indian’s proxy Fitna al Hindustan while traveling on passenger buses, and later found murdered. The incident occurred on the Loralai-Sardaki Dera Ghazi Khan Road in Zhob’s Sari Dhaka.
As per reports, four of these men were travelling with their wives and children when they were pulled off the bus and killed. The fifth was along with his sister.
Authorities have released the identities of the victims as follows:
- Muhammad Bilal, son of Abdul Waheed — District Attock
- Bilawal, son of Akhtar Hashid — Gujrat
- Usman Nazir, son of Nazir Hussain — Lodhran
- Muhammad Jaber Hussain, son of Nazir Hussain — Lodhran
- Ghulam Saeed, son of Ghulam Sarwar — Khanewal
- Sabir Hussain, son of Muhammad Riaz — Gujranwala
- Muhammad Asif, son of Sultan — Chowk Qureshi
- Saeed Anwar Awan — identity under confirmation
- Junaid — identity under confirmation

Condemnations poured in from across the country as political and social leaders called for swift justice and increased security along interprovincial travel routes.
