QUETTA: Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Captain (R) Meharullah Badeni, dedicated the second day of Eid-ul-Adha to the orphaned children of SOS Village.
The children were treated to a memorable day of fun-filled activities at the scenic Hanna Lake, a popular tourist destination in Balochistan.
In this regard, the day was marked by cheerful moments as the children enjoyed boating, recreational games, and open-air festivities under the watchful care and warmth of DC Badeni.
He was speaking on the occasion, DC Badeni said, “Spending time with orphaned children is not just a gesture, but a social and moral responsibility. We must ensure that these children feel loved, valued, and included in our society, especially on festive occasions like Eid.”
He further focused on that such efforts are vital to building a caring and connected community, where no child feels left behind. The gesture was widely appreciated by the public and civil society members, who hailed it as a commendable step towards promoting empathy, inclusion, and social harmony.
