QUETTA: The Deputy commissioner of Quetta has said that the deadline for the Afghan refugees in Pakistan is over now.
While addressing a high-level meeting, DC Quetta Capt. (R) Mehrullah Badini said that the deadline for the Afghan Proof of Registration Card (POR) holder immigrants has come to end.
He said that the POR card holders and the Afghan nationals living illegally were asked to exit Pakistan till July 31 2025. He stressed that the concerned departments should ensure the evacuation of the foreigners’ citizens illegally residing in Pakistan.

Moreover, the Afghan nationals performing cargo services are also supposed to get their license issued. It is worth mentioning that nearly 1.4 million Afghan nationals have left Pakistan so far. However, Pakistani government has excessively been asking the Afghan officials that keeping in view the ongoing security concerns, Pakistan can no longer host the Afghan immigrants. Pakistan demands a peaceful and honored return of the Afghan nationals to their country.
