QUETTA: Deputy Commissioner Mehrullah Badini, acting as the District Returning Officer (DRO), has administered the official oath to all Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) for the upcoming 2025 local body elections.
The oath-taking was followed by a meeting to review election preparations. DC Badini instructed the officers to ensure complete transparency and maintain strict discipline throughout the entire electoral process.
He directed all AROs to perform their election duties with the highest level of efficiency and responsibility.
Two days ago the Deputy Commissioner of Quetta Mehrullah Badini has taken oath as a District Returning Officer for the local government election in Quetta.
The provincial election commissioner has said that all the arrangements have been finalized for conducting the transparent, credible and fair local government election.
He stated that the Election Commission of Pakistan is taking comprehensive measures in Balochistan for the upcoming local government elections, including the training of deployed officers, supply of election materials, and other necessary preparations.
He expressed hope that the district administration, police, and relevant departments will extend full cooperation throughout the electoral process, ensuring that the public is provided an opportunity to exercise their right to vote in a free, transparent, and peaceful environment.
