DC Panjgur Orders Action Against Absent Doctors in Hospital Raid

PANJGUR: In a stark revelation of administrative negligence, Deputy Commissioner DC Panjgur Abdul Kabir Zarkoon conducted a surprise inspection of the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Teaching Hospital’s emergency ward today, only to find no doctor present on duty.

The unannounced visit exposed a critical gap in essential healthcare services, prompting an immediate and stern response from the district’s top official. DC Zarkoon expressed his profound displeasure and strong anger over what he termed a “serious negligence” towards public welfare.

He did not mince words, clearly stating that such carelessness in the health sector would not be tolerated under any circumstances. “Timely provision of medical treatment to the public is the top priority of the government, and any kind of negligence in this regard is unacceptable,” the Deputy Commissioner asserted during the inspection.

Issuing direct orders on the spot, DC Zarkoon directed the hospital administration to initiate immediate disciplinary action against the absent doctor. He further mandated the administration to ensure the round-the-clock availability of qualified medical professionals and to take concrete steps for the improvement of patient treatment facilities.

Reiterating the district administration’s unwavering commitment, the DC emphasized that improving health facilities in Panjgur is a key priority. He issued a final warning, stating that in the future, any complaint regarding staff absenteeism, negligence, or delays in providing emergency medical care would be met with strict and immediate action. This move signals a tougher stance from the district administration aimed at enforcing accountability and ensuring reliable healthcare for the citizens of Panjgur.
