DC directs timely completion of key Quetta projects to ease traffic

QUETTA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Quetta, Captain (R) Mehrullah Badini, conducted a detailed inspection of several ongoing development projects in the city, directing authorities to accelerate work for timely completion and to alleviate severe traffic congestion faced by citizens .

During his visit, the DC closely monitored the ongoing road construction from Nawan Kuli (also reported as Nawan Kali) Road to Aalmo Chowk . He emphasized that the expedited completion of this route is crucial for resolving traffic bottlenecks and providing relief to the public. He instructed officials to remove all obstacles immediately and prioritize the work .

The tour also included a review of the blacktop road from Airport Chowk to the airport. DC Badini directed the concerned officers to ensure the work is completed within the stipulated timeframe without compromising on quality .

Furthermore, the Deputy Commissioner visited the ongoing Hajj parking project inside the airport. At the site, he was given a detailed briefing on the project’s features and progress with the help of a project map .
