Danish Schools to be established in five cities of Balochistan

ISLAMABAD Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to accelerate the development of Danish Schools and the Danish University project, with the initiative now being expanded to Balochistan.

Chairing a high-level meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed that 41% of the project has already been completed.As part of the expansion plan, new Danish Schools will be constructed in Sharda, Musakhel, Sibi, Zhob, and Hub.

The project will also extend to Sultanabad, Ghanche, and Istor in Gilgit-Baltistan, and Bhimber and Bagh in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Emphasizing the need for quality education, the Prime Minister instructed the installation of smart boards in classrooms and the establishment of digital libraries.

He stressed the importance of merit in teacher recruitment while recommending priority for local educators.

Additionally, the Prime Minister called for third-party validation of the project’s progress and requested proposals for the formation of a Danish Authority to oversee these institutions.
