ISLAMABAD: According to sources, the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has finalized a plan to construct four dams on the Chenab River.
The objective of building these four dams is to protect Punjab and Sindh from the devastating impacts of floods.
The total estimated cost of the project is Rs298 billion.
Officials stated that the project is expected to be completed within a period of four years.
