Curfew in Ziarat enters third day as tribal land dispute escalates

ZIARAT: A land dispute between two tribes in Ziarat has triggered serious unrest, forcing the district administration to impose curfew for the third consecutive day.

The curfew covers Ziarat Bazaar and nearby areas, with a complete ban on vehicles, motorcycles, and pedestrian movement.

Authorities have so far arrested 72 men involved in the from the Syedzai tribe. Police have also registered a murder case against JUI provincial spokesman Dilawar Kakar, PKMAP leader Sardar Mirowais Kakar, and several others.

Police and Levies continue raids in different areas to make further arrests, spreading fear and panic among the local population.

Normal life in Ziarat Tehsil remains paralyzed. Residents are confined to their homes as the standoff deepens.
