QUETTA: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed four militants of the Fitna al Hindustan in Pishin during an intelligence-based operation, officials said on Thursday.
A CTD spokesperson said militants opened fire on security personnel, prompting forces to return fire and kill all four attackers in the exchange.
Officials recovered two machine guns, two 9mm pistols, two hand grenades, explosives, primers, and detonators from the militants’ possession.
After the operation, CTD teams cordoned off the area and carried out a detailed search.

According to the CTD, the militants had been planning a major terrorist attack, but the timely action prevented possible destruction in the city.
