The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted an operation in Karachi’s Soldier Bazaar and arrested a terrorist affiliated with the proscribed outfit Zeinabiyoun Brigade.
According to the CTD spokesperson, the suspect, identified as Muhammad Musa, had been in hiding to evade arrest. During preliminary investigations, he confessed to involvement in multiple incidents of murder and attempted murder, and was found to be actively involved in sectarian violence.
The spokesperson added that the suspect had been receiving financial support from the banned Zeinabiyoun Brigade. Several cases were already registered against him at the CTD police station. Further investigations are underway.
