HYDERABAD: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested three terrorists affiliated with banned terrorist group in an operation conducted in near Bhoolari railway track close to Kotri area of Hyderabad. The suspects were planning a major sabotage near the railway track.
CTD spokesperson told local media that the arrested terrorists were identified as Sher Ali Rind, Mashooq Rind, and Hanif Bhatt were affiliated with the banned organization Sindh Regimental Army (SRA).
CTD in-charge Asif Hayat said that the terrorists were planning to carry out large-scale sabotage near the railway track.
During the raid, CTD officials also recovered weapons, explosives, and sensitive arms from the suspects’ possession, including prohibited bore weapons, 8mm guns, hand grenades, remote control devices, and ammunition.
The operation was conducted based on a secret tip-off and in coordination with other law enforcement agencies.

Further investigations revealed that the arrested terrorists were also wanted in multiple firing incidents on trailers traveling from Sujawal to Punjab, and efforts to locate other accomplices are ongoing.
CTD officials confirmed that interrogation is underway and expect more significant revelations.
