GWADAR: The ongoing water crisis in Gwadar is showing signs of slow and gradual improvement as coordinated efforts by relevant government departments and local authorities continue to address the issue.

In this regard, a high-level meeting was conducted at the office of the Director General, Gwadar Development Authority (GDA), to review the progress of relief measures.

Similarly, water supply from Shadi Kaur Dam is also being increased, while the Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) is working to expand the capacity of its water desalination plant to meet the city’s growing demand.

Furthermore, the GDA has mobilized all available resources, personnel, and machinery to effectively tackle the crisis.

Moreover, a new water management section has been established, deploying senior and junior engineers along with field staff across all city wards.
