Cowardly attack by Fitna-ul-Hindustan on PCG boat in Jiwani near Gwadar, three personnel martyred

GWADAR: The coastal waters where the Pakistan Coast Guard was under attack near Jiwani in Gwadar, while patrolling, resulting in the loss of three personnel.

The attack occurred during a routine maritime patrol in the sensitive coastal region of Balochistan province. In this regard, three Coast Guards personnel embraced martyrdom. The deceased have been identified as Naik Afzal, Sepoy Jamel, and Sepoy Umair.

In this sense, the security sources described the incident as a serious breach of maritime safety and confirmed that an investigation has been initiated to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.

The coastal belt of Balochistan, particularly around Gwadar and Jiwani, has remained strategically important due to its proximity to international sea routes and ongoing economic developments.

Meanwhile, security forces, including the Pakistan Coast Guards, regularly conduct patrols to ensure the safety of maritime boundaries and prevent illegal activities such as smuggling and unauthorized crossings.

The security in the area has reportedly been increased, and additional patrol units have been deployed to monitor the situation closely. Officials have reiterated their commitment to safeguarding the country’s maritime interests and ensuring that those responsible for the attack are brought to justice.
