QUETTA: A key consultative meeting of the parliamentary committee on the upcoming budget was held under the leadership of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
During the session, discussions focused on setting priorities for the next fiscal year and aligning budget proposals with public needs to ensure they are practical and effective.
Chief Minister Bugti emphasized that transparency, public welfare, and balance are the core principles guiding the budget process.
He stated that continued consultations with allied parties and relevant stakeholders are essential to formulating a comprehensive and impactful budget.
The Chief Minister noted that the priorities are being shaped around the basic needs of the people, and the budget will not merely be a collection of figures but a clear roadmap for development. Special initiatives for youth, women, and underprivileged segments of society will be included.
