Commissioner Quetta announces annual NOC for digital creators

QUETTA: Commissioner Quetta Division and Administrator Metropolitan Corporation Quetta, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, met with local social media content creators and influencers. The meeting took place in a friendly and open environment.

A wide range of issues were discussed. These included the use of social media to promote a positive image of Quetta and Balochistan. Challenges such as cybersecurity, cyberbullying, and workplace harassment—especially against women—were also raised.

In response, Commissioner Shafqaat announced a new facilitation measure. An annual No Objection Certificate (NOC) will be introduced. This NOC will allow creators to produce videos and vlogs without facing bureaucratic delays.

Through this step, digital storytellers will be empowered. They will be able to highlight Quetta’s culture, beauty, and everyday life more freely.
