Coast guards capture a major drugs-haul in Balochistan

QUETTA: Coast guards have captured a massive drugs haul in Balochistan. According to the details, the coast-guards captures 201 kg of Hashish from Gwadar in the past one week.

The Coast-Guards stopped a suspected van, and carry out a thorough checking.

The Hashish was hidden in the concealed spaces of the car.

The two men carrying the drugs were taken into the custody.

Similarly, the Anti Narcotic Force carried out an operation in Islamabad area.

Ice and Hashish was recovered in an operation in Islamabad.

The druggist meant to supply Hashish and ice to the students in the educational institutes.

Stunning disclosures are expected from the arrested persons.

In another operation in KP areas, a massive drug-haul was captured by the Anti-Narcotic Authorities.

The drugs were smuggled from across the border and were brought to the twin cities and Punjab.

It was just a couple of days earlier when Pakistan Navy captured a drug haul worth billions from the Arabian sea in a joint operation with a Saudi-led multinational task force.

The drugs of worth nearly $972 million (Rs271 billion) in the North Arabian Sea, the navy said on Wednesday.

The operation was carried out by PNS Yarmook under the command of the Combined Task Force 150 (CTF-150), part of the Bahrain-based Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), a coalition of 39 nations focused on maintaining security and stability across the Indian Ocean and adjoining waters.

The operation underscores deepening regional cooperation to curb narcotics trafficking and terrorism at sea, particularly along the North Arabian Sea corridor, which has long served as a route for illicit trade between South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Pakistan regularly contributes naval assets to CMF missions in the region.

The ANF and the other concerning departments have made it absolutely clear that drugs-smuggling is totally intolerable in any part of the country.

The people involved in any such trade  will be taken to a strict accountability.
