RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir has praised Chief of Air Staff and the Shaheens of the Air Force for immediately foiling Indian Air Force attack and shooting down several Indian fighter jets and also appreciate the excellent cooperation between the three services.
General Syed Asim visited the Air Headquarters, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu warmly welcomed him upon reaching the Air Headquarters.
During the meeting, the resolve was reiterated that no one will be allowed to violate the geographical integrity of Pakistan and whoever tries to do so will pay the price.
It should be noted that India carried out 24 attacks on 6 locations in Pakistan on the night of May 5 and 6, resulting in the martyrdom of four mosques, 31 civilians including innocent children and 57 injured.

Pakistan, in response to the aggression by India, has destroyed five warplanes including three Rafale jets, headquarters and several check posts on the Line of Control.
