QUETTA: In a significant show of political unity, the top leadership of all allied parties in Balochistan convened at the Chief Minister’s CM Bugti Secretariat in Quetta to discuss the province’s key issues. The high-level meeting, attended by Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, and senior assembly members, focused on achieving political stability and accelerating development.
During the session, participants conducted a thorough review of the political landscape, the law and order situation, and the progress of ongoing development projects. A key outcome was the unanimous expression of complete confidence in the performance of the provincial government led by CM Bugti. The allied leadership reaffirmed their commitment to a collective strategy for ensuring peace and transparent governance.
The forum expressed satisfaction with the current measures for maintaining peace but also presented actionable suggestions for further improvement. It was agreed that accelerating development projects and implementing people-centric policies required a joint and coordinated approach. A major resolution was to align all welfare initiatives directly with public needs, ensuring benefits reach the common citizen effectively.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Bugti stated that political harmony and strong parliamentary coordination were the guarantees for a bright future in Balochistan. “All allies are united for the progress and peace of Balochistan — this is our real vision and true strength,” he affirmed.
Echoing the sentiment, Governor Mandokhail highlighted that the unity of all parties on the agenda of peace and development reflects a positive political environment. The meeting concluded with a unanimous resolve to continue joint efforts for public welfare, sustainable peace, and the timely completion of development programs across the province.
Meanwhile in a major step toward industrial development in Balochistan has been taken as the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OCH Group for a large-scale investment project.
Under the agreement, a German company, in partnership with OCH Group, will establish an energy and oil refinery infrastructure in Hub at a cost of 50 million US dollars.
The project is expected to play a significant role in strengthening the province’s industrial base.
The MoU was signed during a meeting between Mir Sarfraz Bugti and a delegation of OCH Group in Quetta, where investment opportunities and the current business environment in the province were
