KARACHI: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced the indefinite closure of all CNG stations across Sindh and Balochistan.
According to Sui Southern Gas Company, this decision has been made to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to domestic consumers, resulting in the suspension of gas provision to the CNG sector.
As a result, all CNG stations in the two provinces will remain closed until further notice.
SSGC stated that gas is being supplied to domestic and commercial consumers during sehri and iftar timings.
However, under gas load management, gas supply in the city remains suspended from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily.
Officials explained that, to bridge the current gap between demand and supply, priority is being given to domestic consumers over industrial and commercial needs.
