CM Sarfraz Bugti's strong rebuttal to anti-state narrative

QUETTA: Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti delivered a powerful response to anti-state rhetoric, stating,

“Those who raise arms against the state will no longer be dealt with words but by the law. Balochistan will no longer remain silent.”

He firmly rejected distorted historical claims, saying,

“To those who twist history, hear this: Balochistan’s bond with Pakistan is not a myth but a fact.

The province’s accession to Pakistan wasn’t forced — it was a democratic decision made by the royal jirga through majority consensus.”

He emphasized, “Disagreement with the state does not justify taking up arms.

The conflict in Balochistan was not initiated by the state, but by those dreaming of separatism based on identity.”

Bugti condemned ethnic violence, “The targeted killing of Punjabis is a direct attack on national unity.

Poor governance fuels terrorism, whereas good governance strengthens the state. The constitution demands unconditional loyalty — any deviation from it will no longer be tolerated.”

Highlighting progress, he stated, “A new era of development has begun in Balochistan. Over 3,200 closed schools have been reopened — now, no school in Balochistan will remain non-functional.

The youth are being connected to the state, and doors of opportunity have been opened.”

Bugti concluded with a message to foreign powers,

“The global narrative on Balochistan must align with ground realities.
