QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Thursday expressed satisfaction over the Counter Terrorism Department’s (CTD) successful operation in Akalzai Yaro area of Pishin, stressing that the timely and effective action foiled the terrorists’ nefarious designs.
In a statement, the Chief Minister commended the CTD’s performance and said that the terrorists killed in the operation were involved in multiple acts of terrorism. “Their elimination will further improve the law and order situation in the province,” he noted.
Bugti emphasized that the sacrifices and services of CTD and other security institutions for peace in Balochistan are commendable. He declared that providing a peaceful environment to the people is the government’s top priority, adding that the people of Balochistan stand shoulder to shoulder with security forces in defeating terrorism.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed his government’s commitment to ensuring lasting peace in every corner of the province. “No terrorist or facilitator will be allowed to escape the grip of the law,” he warned.
Highlighting the importance of public cooperation, Bugti said, “The biggest strength for restoring peace is the support of the people.” He vowed that the government is working with firm resolve to make Balochistan a peaceful, prosperous, and developed province.
