QUETTA: The CM Balochistan has said that the treatment of the poor and the deserving patients through Health Cards should not be halted.
While chairing a meeting in Quetta, the Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said that the provincial government aims to provide the poor and the deserving patients with the free treatment.
The treatment should not be halted thorough the health card.
He ordered all the affiliated hospitals of Balochistan to be provided with the funds for the treatment of the patients through health cards.
The Government of Pakistan provides free and subsidized medical treatment to eligible citizens through the Sehat Sahulat / Health Card program.
Under this facility, patients can receive treatment at empaneled public and private hospitals without paying out-of-pocket expenses.
The health card covers major medical services including surgeries, maternity care, emergency treatment, and hospitalization for various diseases.
Citizens are advised to verify their eligibility through the official helpline or SMS service and carry their CNIC when visiting a panel hospital.
The health card aims to reduce the financial burden of healthcare and ensure quality medical services for families across Pakistan.
