CM Bugti visits Civil Hospital, CMH to inquire after injured after Quetta blast victims

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Wednesday visited Civil Hospital’s Trauma Center and Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta to inquire about the health of victims injured in the Sariab Shahwani Stadium blast last night.

Health Department officials briefed the chief minister on the medical facilities provided to the injured. He personally met the patients and their families and inquired about the quality of treatment.

Expressing satisfaction with the medical care, he assured that doctors were providing all possible facilities to the injured. He directed officials to shift the seriously injured to Karachi through air service on doctors’ recommendations, emphasizing that the government would not allow any compromise in treatment and that patients and families must feel completely satisfied.

Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Sardar Kohiyar Khan Domki, Parliamentary Secretary Muhammad Khan Lehri, MPA Ali Madad Jatak, and Senator Agha Shahzeb Durrani accompanied the chief minister. Secretary of Health Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, Commissioner Quetta Jhanzeb Khan, and Deputy Commissioner Quetta Mehrullah Badini also joined him during the visit.

The chief minister condemned the attack, saying terrorists showed cowardice by targeting innocent citizens. He pledged that they would never succeed in sabotaging peace in the province.

He further assured that the government stood firmly with the families of the martyrs and would not leave them alone in this difficult time.
