CM Bugti urges youth to counter anti-state propaganda

Cowardly attacks cannot break nation’s resolve: CM Sarfarz Bugti

QUETTA:Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, on Tuesday, called upon the youth of the province to actively counter anti-state propaganda with logic and action, emphasizing national unity and the honoring of martyrs .

The Chief Minister was speaking at the Government Post Graduate Girls College Quetta Cantonment during the inauguration of a new academic block and a modern auditorium . The new block has been named after Shaheed Professor Nazma Talib, a lecturer who was tragically killed in a terrorist attack in Quetta after dedicating decades to education .

In his address,CM Bugti stated that the sacrifices of martyrs will not be in vain and that every citizen has a role to play in protecting and developing the state . He lauded the courage of students, particularly young women, for standing firm against terrorists who aim to shut down educational and health facilities, calling their determination a “source of pride for the nation” . He also announced that Serena Chowk in Quetta will be renamed after Shaheed Justice Nawaz Marri to permanently honor his sacrifice .

The Chief Minister used the occasion to highlight the government’s commitment to education,announcing that the college would be equipped with digital facilities and modern infrastructure . He also referred to recent security operations, stating that security forces had “sent the terrorists to hell” and that the backbone of terrorist networks in the province was being broken .
