CM Bugti says Indian aggression could destablise regional peace

QUETTA: Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti has warned that the recent Indian aggressions could destablise the whole region, adding that India’s war mongering policies and motives poses a serios threat to Pakistan and neighboring countries.

CM Bugti said that India’s motives must be exposed on the international stage, with the aim to show the real face of Modi’s government policies to start a baseless accusation against Pakistan after the Pahalgam incident.

Speaking in the Balochistan assembly session on Wednesday during the discussion on the joint resolution against the India aggression, CM said that we want peace in our country and in the region but when it comes to the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan, we know how to defend our country.

He added that we put all our political differences aside and stay united when it comes to defend the motherland and this kind of unity is the hallmark of a living nation.

CM added that he fully supports the unanimous resolution passed in the Balochistan Assembly condemning the baseless allegations and aggressive stance adopted by India.

He appreciated all opposition members for political differences aside and supported the resolution in the interest of national integrity.

Regarding the Pahalgam incident, CM said that whenever BJP needs votes in election, they started negative campaign against Muslims and Pakistan and now it looks like the recent Pahalgam incident is also a preplanned as many previous incidents in India, especially in occupied Kashmir, have been traced back to Indian intelligence agencies.

“War is never a viable solution, especially between nuclear-armed countries. However, if war is imposed, its consequences cannot be controlled” CM said.

CM Bugti said that India cannot cancelled the Indus Waters Treaty, as there are international guarantors of the treaty and if they blocked the water then it will be considered as the declaration of war.
