QUETTA: A consultative meeting on the upcoming fiscal year’s budget was held Tuesday at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Quetta. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired the meeting.
Parliamentary leaders and members from the government’s coalition parties attended the meeting.
Chief Minister Bugti said the new budget would focus on collective schemes to improve public welfare. He stressed the use of available resources for projects that serve the public and boost development in the province.
He pledged full funding for proposed projects to ensure proper use of financial resources. He said this would help meet the people’s development needs.
Bugti added that the budget would provide basic services and prioritize development projects in line with government goals.
Participants backed the Chief Minister’s leadership in budget formation. They also gave suggestions to improve public service delivery.

Those present included Nawabzada Mir Tariq Khan Magsi, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, Mir Sadiq Umrani, Bakht Mohammad Kakar, Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, Mir Abdul Majeed Badini, and Haji Ali Madad Jatak.
