QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has ordered to take strict action against those government employees who were involved in anti-state activities.
CM Bugti issued the directives during a high-level review meeting on the implementation of the Provincial Action Plan, held in Quetta.
The Home and Tribal Affairs Department gave a comprehensive briefing on progress under the Provincial Action Plan and the CM was informed that about the steps taken by provincial authorities against those supporting anti-state elements.
During the meeting, CM Bugti said that the implementation of the Provincial Action Plan is must for the Balochistan development and sustainable peace in the province.
Every citizen needs to play its role in maintaining the peaceful environment in Balochistan as it is not only a war of security force, every individual has to fight against the false narrative of the banned organizations in the province, Bugti said.
He emphasized coordinated efforts, merit-based decisions, and collective responsibility, saying, “The state’s interest will always come first.”
The Chief Minister directed officials to maintain strict vigilance over propaganda and anti-state narratives, especially on social media. “We must assess whether any NGOs are engaged in illegal activities,” he added.

Bugti said distinguishing between truth and falsehood has become difficult for our youth in today’s era of AI and social media, adding that we must bring factual truths to the public, not just popular narratives.
CM Bugti shared that 1,436 closed schools have been reopened across Balochistan within a short span of two months which shows the government commitment towards education.
