Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has said that the province possesses vast opportunities for tourism development.
While addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Balochistan Grand Tourism Festival, the Chief Minister congratulated the people of the province and appreciated the successful organization of the event.
Speaking to the media, he praised the efforts of the Culture Department, Parliamentary Secretary Zareen Khan Magsi, and the Secretary of Culture for their dedication in making the festival a success.
He stated that the festival highlighted the positive image of Balochistan across Pakistan and effectively showcased the province’s rich history and culture.
CM Bugti further added that the government welcomes investment in Balochistan through public-private partnerships, emphasizing that the province’s coasts, mountains, and hospitality await tourists with open arms.
Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest province by area, is home to stunning natural beauty, including the Makran coastline, Hingol National Park, Ziarat Valley, Kund Malir Beach, and the majestic mountain ranges of Quetta and Kalat. Despite its immense potential, the region’s tourism industry remains underdeveloped due to limited infrastructure and accessibility.
In recent years, the provincial government has focused on improving roads, promoting eco-tourism, and organizing cultural festivals to attract both domestic and international tourists.
With growing attention to its cultural heritage and scenic diversity, Balochistan is steadily emerging as Pakistan’s next major tourism destination.
The valleys, waters and the snowfall destination in Balochistan present a scenic view in Balochistan and freshen the eyes of the viewers.
There are deserts with some spectacular species of biodiversity across Balochistan.
If provided with peace and stability, Balochistan can become a tremendous tourist-hub on the global level.
