ISLAMABAD :Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has announced that the government has completed effective legislation to address the long-standing issue of missing persons. He stated that while resolving this issue is a priority, it is also the state’s fundamental duty to arrest terrorists and present them in court under the rule of law.
Speaking at a Supreme Court Bar Association conference, Bugti delivered a strong message against separatist violence. He declared that individuals taking up arms against the state will face “decisive counter-terrorism action.” He firmly rejected separatist propaganda, calling Balochistan’s accession to Pakistan an “undeniable historical truth” and asserting that “Pakistan will never be divided.”

CM Bugti accused a neighboring country of supporting militants and criticized political groups for exploiting the missing persons issue for personal gain. He highlighted that this is the first government to take concrete legislative steps towards a solution.
On development, the Chief Minister emphasized his government’s focus on reforms in education, healthcare, and governance. He also announced a grant of Rs. 100 million for the Supreme Court Bar Association.
