SUI: Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Monday laid the foundation stone of the Sui-Kashmore Road in a ceremony held in Sui. This initiative marks a crucial step forward in the provincial government’s mission to increase connectivity and improve the lives of residents in remote areas.
In this sense, Chief Minister Bugti termed the project a “milestone towards a new era of development and prosperity” for the region. He mentioned that the road would serve as a vital link, not just between Sui and Kashmore, but also between opportunity and progress for the people of Dera Bugti and adjacent areas.

The ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Petroleum Mian Khan Bugti, Chairman District Council Dera Bugti Mir Ghulam Nabi Shambani, local government officials, tribal elders, and a large gathering of community members.

Furthermore, officials briefed the Chief Minister and guests on the scope, timeline, and significance of the initiative. They focused that this is the first mega communication infrastructure project in Dera Bugti, designed specifically to improve the transportation of agricultural produce and goods, thus offering substantial benefits to local farmers and traders.
In this regard, Bugti also directed relevant authorities to ensure the project’s timely and high-quality execution, ensuring that the benefits must directly reach the local population.
In addition, Chief Minister Bugti arrived in Sui for a one-day visit, where he was warmly welcomed by tribal elders and residents, demonstrating strong local support for his administration’s development agenda.
The Sui-Kashmore Road project stands as a symbol of hope and progress, asserting a positive image of Balochistan as a region poised for sustainable development and national integration.
