QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, convened an important meeting with provincial ministers and members of the Balochistan Assembly from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). Deputy Speaker Ms. Ghazala Gola was also present during the discussions, which centered on the upcoming provincial budget, public welfare initiatives, and broader parliamentary collaboration.
The meeting mentioned a spirit of cooperation and constructive engagement across party lines. The CM Bugti focused on the importance of inclusive governance. A key topic of appreciation during the meeting was the launch of the “People’s Train Service,” a new initiative aimed at improving regional connectivity and public transport infrastructure.
Furthermore, CM Bugti announced that over 90% of the funds allocated under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) have been utilized, marking an unprecedented level of fiscal efficiency in the province’s history.
“This reflects our commitment to results not just promises,” he said.
The Chief Minister reasserted the administration’s dedication to good governance, transparency, and public trust.
“Visible progress on development projects will speak louder than announcements. Our goal is to restore the people’s confidence by delivering on-ground results,” he stated.
In this regard, underlining a broader national vision, CM Bugti acknowledged the guiding political acumen of President Asif Ali Zardari and hailed PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s leadership as a beacon of unity, democracy, and forward-looking politics.
