CM Bugti hails Saim Ayub’s batting and congratulates team on win over South Africa

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti inaugurated the province's first-ever School Transport Program, announcing a significant reduction in the number of out-of-school children as a result of ongoing reforms.

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Pakistan national cricket team for their “brilliant success” in securing the ODI series victory against South Africa, following their earlier T20 series win.

In a statement, the Chief Minister said this consecutive triumph is a clear manifestation of the team’s hard work, unwavering discipline, and exceptional teamwork. He stated that the spirit, unity, and professionalism displayed by the national team on the field have made the entire nation proud.

“The players have proven that when determination, confidence and hard work are together, no opponent is invincible,” CM Bugti remarked. He emphasized that the Pakistan team has demonstrated that its players are second to none in terms of raw ability, courage, and passion for the game.

The Chief Minister reserved special praise for young batsman Saim Ayub, calling his batting “brilliant.” He stated that Saim has “breathed new life into Pakistan’s batting line-up with his performance,” and that his current form is a highly promising sign for the team’s prospects in upcoming matches.

Beyond the sporting achievement, CM Bugti highlighted the broader national significance of the victory. He described the team’s success as a “shining example for the positive identity of the country and the promotion of sports.” He noted that this victory has instilled a profound sense of happiness, unity, and pride among the people of Pakistan.

In a separated move CM Bugti has personally intervened to appoint a talented former student as the Band Master of her alma mater, Government Girls High School in Jinnah Town, Quetta. The appointment of Ms. Rizwana Bibi brings a successful conclusion to her long-standing pursuit of the position, which had been stalled by bureaucratic delays.
