QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti congratulated the nation on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer, celebrated today to mark Pakistan’s 1998 nuclear tests.
He praised the armed forces and all who helped make Pakistan’s defense strong. He acknowledged their dedication and resilience in tough times.
Bugti said Pakistan’s defense remains solid. He noted that the country’s nuclear capability ensures strategic balance in South Asia. “The May 28 tests sent a clear message to enemies. Pakistan can protect its borders and sovereignty,” he stated.
He also lauded the armed forces and nuclear scientists for their historic efforts. He called their achievements a source of pride for the nation and future generations.
Bugti said Youm-e-Takbeer reminds everyone of their duty to work for Pakistan’s progress and stability. “It inspires every Pakistani to be ready to sacrifice for the country’s defense,” he added.
Expressing pride in the brave people of Balochistan, he noted their unwavering support for the armed forces and rejection of any propaganda against them.
