QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has strongly criticized the nationalist leaders of the province for promoting misleading narratives and failing to provide basic services to the people during their time in power.
Speaking to a local private news channel on the issues of Balochistan, CM Bugti said that the national leaders and sardars of Balochistan have historically deprived the people of Balochistan of their basic rights and opportunities, adding that they never worked for development of roads, creating jobs for young Baloch.
Rejecting allegations of rigged elections made by nationalist parties, Bugti pointed out that many of their own family members are currently serving in the provincial assembly. If the elections were rigged, how are their sons and brothers sitting in parliament, he questioned.
Regarding the Indian-funded banned terrorist organizations such as BLA and others, CM Bugti called for a clear national stance on groups like BLA, stating that their agenda is openly demands the separation of Balochistan from the Pakistan, yet, many in the country still mislabel their violence as a struggle for rights. CM stressed that this contradiction must be resolve with clarity.
While answering to a question, he asked how someone could legitimize violence and destruction in the province, adding that those who justify bombings, killings, and sabotage need to be held accountable for misleading the youth and harming the province.

CM Bugti said that during his tenure, the provincial government had clearly identified terrorist actors and exposed them internationally.
He reiterated the provincial government’s commitment to peace, development, and the rule of law, calling on all stakeholders to confront facts rather than fall for propaganda.
